it’s so fucking disappointing how badly they screwed up ellie’s character. honestly i could say the same about pretty much every character in the show

ik some will say “it’s an adaptation, it’s supposed to be different” sure, but it still needs to stay true to the characters. you can make changes without making them feel out of character. such a letdown cause the actors could’ve killed it if the writing had done them justice
