Last but not least in this report on blockchain status in Japan is the mention that “.. blockchain will find a clear path to integration into a wide range of systems..” this hit both the opportunity and main current problem with #blockchain today.

I like the phrasing “we are hurtling toward a hyperconnected economy, and blockchain will provide the way to make it happen.” In this report. But still so much work to fig out, eg incentives, on/off ramps and most relevant - oracles to connect real world to the chain. #blockchain

This illustrates a great point about the benefits of open innovation, as a way to enable and facilitate external and untraditional sources for innovation, let it be board games or pharmaceutical research. #openinnovation
