Nigel was referred to us in desperate need. He’s faced many challenges in his life -a life-changing injury that stopped him from working, homelessness, the death of his mum and son, cuckooing of his home and unexpected debt. He needed a helping hand: bit.ly/4boRrYm

To help autistic people and those with learning disabilities stay safe, we've made a film on cuckooing. Working with Ultimate Films, it features Talkback members and is available as a free training resource: talkback-uk.com/cuckooing-trai… Thanks to Thames Valley OPCC for making this possible.

Well that's a wrap from the Multi Storey Living Project Meeting today, featuring a great presentation from the Highrise Team Manager on "cuckooing" in flats and tenanted homes, and discussion on how everyone can help to report this issue. TPASGill

Yesterday, I had a positive meeting with Tatiana Gren-Jardan and Iain Duncan Smith MP Chingford & Woodford Green to discuss how to combat cuckooing – the practice where criminals take over the homes of vulnerable people. This government is taking strong action to stop violence and exploitation to make our streets safer.

The Preventing & Disrupting Cuckooing Victimisation: Professional Toolkit has been downloaded 8,000+ times in the past 2 months. Incredible. But not enough. We need specific cuckooing legislation to safeguard victims and prosecute perpetrators. The campaign continues ✊🏻

Enjoyed presenting & learnt a lot from the CareKnowledge webinar on cuckooing yesterday. Over 1500 present - shows the interest in the subject. Encountered huge national disparity in awareness of the subject & approaches to interventions. Great community - thanks Rob Mair
