This is one of those nights that I have to face the reality. Drawing is my only wish but it's also my biggest fear. I love drawing and want to get better at it but I'm scared of drawing even if there's nothing at stake

I had no idea how much emotional pressure I was under. I was so nervous I couldn't draw a mannequin in 3 days because of fear+anxiety that because I succeeded once I broke down in tears w

5 pages of studies. Whacking my brain everytime it tries to push me back to a comfort zone. The biggest reason I can't improve is the way failing to get to the next level makes me retreat to doing things that are easy but don't lead me anywhere... This is rough but it's needed.

Really early on I used to relish failure than fear it. I'll do anything to get back to that mindset

Artists of the world, what music do you listen to when doing your creative efforts?

I used to get really frustrated and feel like I had to improve everyday or I was being wasteful, but nowadays I just feel like I need to come back to trying everyday without the pressure or expectation. The fact I'm trying and returning to the fight will reward me eventually

Not much to update here. My arm is hurt and it's too cold to draw when I have a bit of free time. Between working and recovery there's little room to do anything great right now

Some of us are Uraras at the end of the day. I have a lot of fun trying but the fact everyone else is so much better and far ahead secretly hurts a lot. You can only look to that growing gap so long before it breaks you into pieces 😞
