Huge congratulations to Matthew Lowerison and YiRangShin who worked so hard to help the @SongLabUIUC clinch the winner award for the super-resolution imaging challenge (in vivo) at @ieeeius 2022!
We are at the Acoustical Society of America 183rd conference at Nashville presenting our recent works on using deep learning for super-resolution ultrasound. Zhijie Dong Xi Chen YiRangShin Qi You
Excited to share that I have received the NSF CAREER Award. Many thanks to the strong support from my home department Illinois ECE and collaborators Llano Laboratory Oelze_URL Computational Imaging Science Laboratory (CISL)!
Do you want to pursue postdoctoral research at the No. 1 hospital in the US Mayo Clinic with a world-class team of researchers and clinicians lead by Prof. Shigao Chen? Please send your CV to [email protected] if you are interested.
Check out our new paper led by Zhijie Dong where we present a new version of the FASTER probe clip-on device that enables high volume-rate, multimodal 3D ultrasound imaging with regular 1D ultrasound probes (B-mode, Doppler, and super-resolution imaging). doi.org/10.1101/2023.0…
I'm very proud of YiRang YiRangShin who developed LOCA-ULM, which is the first context-aware DL-based ULM method. Our team's conventional method won the super-resolution challenge last year, but now LOCA-ULM has taken the lead. Check out full paper here: biorxiv.org/content/10.110…
🧵1/7 It was a lot of fun writing this short review with Dr. Jon Rubin Michigan Radiology and Matthew Lowerison to provide an update for super-resolution ultrasound imaging. The full paper is open access and can be found here: sciencedirect.com/science/articl…
We are very excited to receive the U.S. National Science Foundation Partnerships for Innovation (PFI) award to advance our commercialization effort for 3D ultrasound! Shoutout to our scientific, entrepreneurial, and industrial collaborators: Jun Zou Texas A&M Electrical and Computer Engineering , Jed Taylor TEC, & Jon Daigle Verasonics, Inc.!
My lab has 1-2 postdoc positions and 2-3 PhD RA positions immediately available. Research topics include ultrafast 3D imaging and super-resolution ultrasound. Please RT and email me if you are interested: [email protected]. Experience with Verasonics is preferred.
Excited to share that YiRangShin's work on LOCA-ULM has been published on Nature Communications! When domain mismatch is addressed and context specific loss functions are used, DL indeed provides much better super-resolution ULM performance than existing methods. nature.com/articles/s4146…
