It is very true about time influence effect of Cre/loxp. In my hands, when i use lysm cre to delete 11beta-HSD1, tissue resident macrophages show perfect deletion but no change is found in thioglycollate induced fresh macrophages at all. ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/P…

The diverse activation of T cells were revealed for first time, with increased IL-18, FAS signalling (19h continuous work with Graham S Taylor). Some thought-provoking (controversial?) data on NLRP3 caused publication delay and my redundancy😂
