I was looking for a fun weekend activity with kids and decided to vibe code this last night.. Turn your own photos into coloring pages that the kids can color on. Uses the latest OpenAI image generation API. Early happiness results from my daughter seem to be 💯

the last couple of GPT-4o updates have made the personality too sycophant-y and annoying (even though there are some very good parts of it), and we are working on fixes asap, some today and some this week. at some point will share our learnings from this, it's been interesting.

And instead of polling, webhooks now let you receive notifications for certain API events—such as completed responses, fine-tuning jobs, and batch jobs. We recommend using webhooks for long-horizon tasks (like deep research!) to improve reliability. platform.openai.com/docs/guides/we…

1/N I’m excited to share that our latest OpenAI experimental reasoning LLM has achieved a longstanding grand challenge in AI: gold medal-level performance on the world’s most prestigious math competition—the International Math Olympiad (IMO).

GPT-5 is now available in Cursor. It’s the most intelligent coding model our team has tested. We're launching it for free for the time being. Enjoy!

One pretty big launch that folks may have missed today: GPT-5 now supports context-free grammars when calling your custom tools! It works with your DSLs, with negligible added latency. Props to William Zhang (the intern!) and Brian Yu for pushing this through!

Everyone’s talking $OPEN so wanted to share my thoughts from being an early PM there. Early Opendoor employees are the hardest working people I know. Every VC should invest in them. Every founder should hire from them. There’s no person that can outwork an early Opendoor

nobody tells you this... but a reason we don't have cool new technology is because hardware compliance sucks cue Normal. we're automating testing and certification for hardware teams
