It’s been an eventful July for my 15 year old! He landed his first job with McDonald's 🇨🇦 and received his learners from SGI. #proudmom

On our Thursday evening drive around beautiful Riding Mountain National Park, Parks Canada we were blessed to see 2 baby black bears! It was so awesome! We’ve never been here before and have been impressed so far with the park, but this little impromptu sighting was the icing on the cake for this family!

It’s also going to be difficult on Ss who began cultivating connections with their teachers & fellow classmates after 2 weeks together. My son is feeling an immense loss after learning Fri he was losing his teacher,a few peers & moving classrooms. Such a huge disruption for all😔

My son ADORES you as well. He appreciates your teaching methods, your content and above all, your care attention to your students mental health. So thank you. Thank you for taking the time to pause to reset and teaching our children how important that is going into adulthood.

Im going to cherish this moment as Im sure this will be the last Christmas my son will do this. Although, I do hope he continues to put the milk & cookies out with a note to Santa (and carrots for the reindeer, of course) regardless of his age. Never stop believing, kiddo ❤️💚

Sometimes… but not always the case. I didn’t have a teacher who inspired me. But I had some amazing teacher friends and school colleagues who convinced me to pursue my degree in education so that I could become the teacher I wish I would have had when I was a student ♥️

Can any Twitter friends out there give me their personal experience on recovery after carpel tunnel surgery ? Can you use your hand after? What’s the pain like? How long do I have to be off ? Ok, the real question, can I teach right after surgery ?

Always grateful to Regina Public Schools for the many class options they provide to students at the high school level. Once again welding class is one of my child’s favourite courses Balfour Collegiate. Thank you, Mr. Sterling for continuing to make learning meaningful! You’re an 11/10!

My class is having babies in 21 days! This is a new experience for me as a teacher. The grade 1s and I are super excited for this opportunity! Stay tuned!

And we have babies! The Gr. 1s are going to be so excited tomorrow am! I can’t wait to see their faces! It’s going to be the … Best. Monday. Ever. 💛🐣

Yesterday the Gr. 1s were able to transport the chicks from the incubator to the brooder box. The excitement in the room was infectious! They are ready to take on the responsibility of caring for the new members of our classroom family.

Grade 1 will always have my ❤️ unless Kindergarten can convince me otherwise! I’m officially a Kindergarten teacher now. Bring on year 8!

The kinders were introduced to New Year’s goals, traditions and activities today. They enjoyed toasting to celebrate the new year and each other but I think the highlight of their day was making the tasty ball drop treat. Thank you kindersmorgasboard for sharing the idea.

So many learning opportunities arise thru dramatic play. Watching the Ks develop skills & intent such as communication, multiple literacies, cooperation & focus makes my heart burst. Never did I imagine so much fulfillment teaching Kinders. I always thought Gr. 1 would have my ♥️

Wow! That’s a wrap! Teaching kinder is no small feat! But the growth & confidence I was privileged to witness was incredible! To say I am honoured to be a part of their learning journey into education is an understatement… Thank you for helping me grow, too Kindergartens ❤️

Son is running in the GMS Queen City Marathon today. He is nervous as this is his first marathon ever. I know he will do well! Good luck, Kiddo! ♥️
