On Friday 02/12, we held an event for schools, educators, researchers & climate campaigners University of Melbourne. As well as celebrating the fantastic work completed, young people & others continued to envisage & debate climate strategies & education informed by cultural diversity & respect.


Today we are doing the same thing ManchesterSCI ! Excited to celebrate the project and have great conversations with Kit Marie Rackley (Geogramblings) MEEN University of Manchester School & Colleges Team and three great local schools and colleges.

This was a fantastic event, thanks so much to everyone for coming. Needless to say all of our lovely resources illustrated by Maisy Summer & produced w/ ManchesterSCI Kit Marie Rackley (Geogramblings) Environment Education Victoria & wonderful young researchers were immediately snapped up!

Getting excited for the Social Responsibility "Making a Difference" awards tomorrow evening, where our creative project book and other educational resources will be shortlisted for an award for social impact. All these resources are free to download at sci.manchester.ac.uk/research/proje…

The first highly commended award goes to a project exploring migrant families’ experiences of living with climate change, considering how these experiences can be applied to climate change education.
