Grant, a second-grade TOP student, recently finished a #YSBOLD experience involving red efts, which are juvenile newts. He collected a few while camping, created a habitat for them, and discovered a lot through observation and research. Way to go, Grant! youtu.be/UHuF4V67bT8

Our second-grade students had so much fun on the virtual trip to Richard Nixon Park, they decided to share their appreciation through digital messages. The park's staff will receive the notes on Friday. It's a modern-day, #YSBOLD twist on the classic thank-you card!

Annabelle (Class of 2031) and Wyatt (Class of 2033) took an educational trip to the C&O Canal NHP. They found a colorful bird called the Painted Bunting and enjoyed a great view of the Potomac River. Wyatt enjoyed the trip so much, he drew a picture of a Painted Bunting! #YSBOLD

The 100th day of school occurred this week, and students celebrated being 100 days brighter by wearing bright colors! In these pictures, Eleanor, Estella, and Ruby display their vivid outfits. 💯🎉 #YSBOLD
