Ironically, the very reason we have DEI programs is because senators like Loren Lippincott have no idea what it means and how it should work. It’s also why DEI programs struggle to get through to those that need them the most.

There is a teacher shortage, and these scholarships were for students planning to teach in high poverty areas and areas with high teacher turnover.

I love my country with all my heart and I've never been more embarrassed for America than the spectacle I just witnessed in the Oval Office. Zelensky is fighting for the survival of his country, his people and their democracy. Trump and Vance appear to be completely aligned with

Just watch this documentary. It’s perfect to understand why so many are embarrassed and upset about the meeting in the Oval Office today. youtu.be/9H_Fg_5x4ME?si…

Nebraska football and hoops. It’s a disease. There is no cure. But I’ll be back fighting this chronic illness again next year. Renewing season tickets. Hoping for greatness. Expecting groin kicks. #Nebrasketball

It’s time, Lincoln. If you can master roundabouts, you can learn to zipper merge. Mayor Leirion Gaylor Baird, could we start with zipper merge signs approaching lane closures? There’s no reason to have a mile-long line of cars before a lane closure.

The correct answer is Dirk Chatelain. Unfortunately, I don’t think Frost would participate. With 179 guys covering the team, I’m surprised we didn’t get more real reporting on Frost’s personal struggles during his tenure. Just a bunch of practice reports and countdown lists. 🙄

Has there been any investigative journalism on the Lincoln road construction this summer? It's...awful. So many questions deserve answers. It's wild how universal it has become as small talk with everybody in town.

I don’t know, man. After a week of toxic social media, I feel it’s worth mentioning millions and millions of people chose not to post their thoughts online. Instead they went and lived their lives. Worked at their job. Hung out with their family. Had some fun. Went outside.

I’m in no way advocating for this. But if public schools closing was an effect of a government shutdown, there would never be government shutdowns. Parents would’ve been storming the Capitol yesterday.

While we are all giving constructive criticism to NSAA, could they please get a new website? It looks like something your uncle threw together on Word Press in 2005. People care about high school sports and activities in Nebraska. They deserve a lot better.

“First you lose big, then you lose close, then you win close, then you win big.” — Bobby Bowden’s four phases of winning Really feels like we are in the “winning close” phase. GBR!

Down 21-14 to MSU. Same old Nebraska. Down 31-24 to Maryland. Same old Nebraska. Ten years of this crap. Losing close game after close game. What is this feeling?!

Reflection. Yeah, last night sucked. A lot. Let’s say we beat NW. If I were to tell you we would be 6-2 when the year started, I think we all take that. It’s likely gonna be 7-5 or 8-4 now. And we can all debate for seven months if the team really improved and how close we are.
