A pox on all software makers or subscription services that don't allow you to cancel a renewal without immediately cancelling your access, ahead of your prepaid period's renewal date. I'm looking at you Adobe

Ugh. Finding out from Google Ads notifications that a client's web site was down for more than a day. Why do they even pay these website support service providers and uptime monitoring services? I should not be the first person to notice on a Monday morning.

Well, I don't know when Google Ads added the Appeal button for Disapproved Ads (because its been a LONNNNNNNNG time since I had a disapproved ad), but I'm sure glad they have it now instead of the old way of "changing" every ad one at a time because the destination site was down.

What the fax?! I guess faxing isn’t dead 🤷‍♂️ Haven't had a fax line in ages, so happy that Dropbox bought HelloFax so I can send and receive faxes when the random need comes up. Dropbox Sign #DropboxFax app.hellofax.com

I know Microsoft products aren't really considered sexy these days, but I gotta say, their graphics solutions are quickly becoming my favorite tools.

Oh goodie, yet another SAAS site that allows cold-callers to send scheduled spam in bulk. No, I will not be watching your Loom video pitch.

A tool is just a tool, it doesn't "do" the work for you, it only makes it easier to implement the work that needs to be done.

Just like a PPC agency being paid on a percent of ad spend basis becomes problematic (they earn MORE the more their client spends, how is that rational?) there are also problematic things about a realtor fee based on property price.

I don't know who royally screwed up the City of Sacramento's website, but it was clearly someone who didnt understand that URLs are case sensitive. Do better.

Find it hilarious that Google is trying to get us to apply a recommendation in Ads based on "global" data from a very specific one-month timeframe from 2022. #ppcchat #googleads

Today we released the August 2024 core update. It continues our work to improve the quality of our search results by showing more content that people find genuinely useful and less content that feels like it was made just to perform well on Search. developers.google.com/search/blog/20…

Why do company's even off the "remember this browser" option on login/authentication? I can't remember how many YEARS its been since it actually worked.

Okay, just curious how other people deal with being AI tagged with Limited Eligibility for policies that don't apply to your targeted location. Ex. "Ad may run to a limited audience" when you don't target the the geographic audience they are limiting?

Well, they've replaced Search function with it, so if you have to look up someone's profile- like your bestie-- because the algo never shows you their posts, then yeah, I guess it will end up being "the most used".
