We went to visit Knowle Hill Residential Home this week where we retold the story of "The very Hungry Caterpillar " and sang some songs and rhymes that we have been learning. We all had a wonderful time and so did the residents. #singalong #EYFS

We have been discussing why it is important to recycle and put our rubbish in the bin. We have used litter pickers to keep our 'beach' clean and tidy 🗑️🚮♻️

Nursery have been comparing the vehicles they might see and hear in Beighton to the vehicles they might see and hear at the Seaside. We have made our own boats and decorated them with paint, crayons and felt tips ⛵️🏖️

We were amazing listeners in our African drumming workshop. We retold the story of ‘The Three Little Pigs’ and joined with many familiar songs 🎶

In Nursery we have enjoyed learning about different celebrations. We have focused on Halloween, Bonfire night and this week, Diwali! Thank you for sending your celebration photos, we have loved talking about these ❤️

We have been enjoying our time outside. We all joined in putting out the fires, dressing up as firefighters and being ‘Teamwork Trolls’ to work together 😊

Children in nursery have been working hard this week! They have been mixing powder paints with ‘Bob the brush’ to make a creamy yoghurt texture and make lots of new different colours.

Superstar learning in Maths this week! Children have been learning all about height and length, making their own measuring devices to check which is the longest in length or the tallest in height 🌟
