Talk about β€œoff to a flying start!β€πŸš€πŸš€πŸš€ Reception have been brilliant this week and we’ve had so much fun. We’ve done tonnes of art and craft. The main winner this week has been how kind and helpful all the children have been. Next week….more of the same please. βοΈπŸ’«βοΈπŸ’«

We YWCPS Year 5 have been learning how computers store images. One way is to split the image into pixels and give each square a corresponding colour, creating a bit map image. We have been creating our own bitmap images by completing pixel puzzles of maritime flags.

Today we YWCPS Year 4 we wrote a class algorithm on how to draw a square. We talked about sequence and spotting patterns in the algorithm. We then turned our completed algorithm into a program using Scratch programming language.
