I managed to test one of my Gaussian Splatting scan of Chalcopyrite stone in Touch Designer and Looking Glass GO. 3DSG files are tricky but it's works 20 fps on 4060 TI for single 220k splat file. Holding real think and looking at it on 3D display is crazy.

DUSt3R has become much much Fast3R! Make sure to run the code or try the web demo! It's great! Don't forget to share your results below in the comments!

This is probably one of the best speeches i have heard since the whole debacle with the US and Europe started. It is by Claude Malhuret a French physician and politician who has been a member of the French Senate since 2014. Personally the end of the speech sums up my views.

Following marker detection using the Passthrough Camera API on Meta Quest, I implemented marker tracking. I plan to clean up and publish the code later. Personally, I find this a useful feature, so I’m glad I was able to make it work. #augmentedreality #mixedreality #metaquest

The Meta Quest #ImageTracking repo is finally ready! I've tried to document it and polish it as much as I can. github.com/Aupuma/QuestIm… #PassthroughCameraAPI

That REEFLEX 240mm lens is pretty cool cause mobile macro doesn’t match full frame photography BUT fits in my pocket so no frustration in the end😍

Robotics is stuck in 1995. It’s slow, closed, and costs a fortune. A tiny team in Paris just changed that. Now you can control real robots using code. From your laptop. Or even in VR. Nobody’s talking about them. That won’t last long. Here’s why this is a big deal 🧵

I am building one of these open source Dream Recorders. It is a portal to your Dream subconscious. It is a bedside device that promises to catche your nightly visions and plays them back as vivid, low resolution cinematic reels. Link: dreamrecorder.ai

Prototyping a new Gaussian Splat rendering architecture for PlayCanvas — built from the ground up with global sorting (splats-in-splats!), LOD, variable-rate SH updates, and more. This is a major step beyond our existing system. Early capture attached. 🎥 #WebGL #WebGPU

Meta × Niantic is a big deal. Quest gets Lightship-grade 3D mapping, spatial anchors, and VPS localization - plus primitives like object detection & semantic segmentation. That’s the spatial computing stack shipped into the hands of devs today.
