Today in English, the children were acting out freeze frames. They were pretending to be a helpful giant and save the kite from a tree and to stop the trees from falling! Well done Pine Tree!!

This half term in Science, Pine Tree class were looking at plants and fruits and vegetables that grow in the ground. We watched our cress and broad beans grow each day by giving them water, sunshine and warmth. Here is our Science display!

This week Pine Tree have been looking at fraction. We now know that we can share our whole into two parts, or two halves. This means that two halves make one whole! We tried this out with lots of different types of foods.

We have had a very busy week in Pine Tree. In Art we have been mark making, using different objects that we find in our classroom e.g. glue sticks, sponges, numicon and cubes. We ended the week by creating a mood board on Martin Luther King, who has inspired us to dream big!

We have had lots of fun in Pine Tree this week. We have been looking at different materials and where we might use these in our everyday lives. We noticed that we have a lot of wood in our classroom made up from our tables and chairs!
