We open-sourced 99% of US caselaw on Hugging Face. Both AI and legal tech companies are selling this data for a high premium. You can simply just build a wrapper around it and freely compete with them now. That is why we love open-source. huggingface.co/datasets/commo…

It has been a while… but an updated, faster & more accurate version of OrthoFinder is now out! Scales to thousands of species on conventional compute resources with higher accuracy than ever before and the same data rich fully phylogenetic outputs 👉biorxiv.org/content/10.110…

Drs. Dirk Görlich and Steven McKnight have won the 2025 Albert Lasker Award for Basic Medical Research for showing that low-complexity domains of proteins lack structure on their own and yet can form assembled states essential to cellular functions. Learn more in the Clinical

Excited to release BoltzGen which brings SOTA folding performance to binder design! The best part of this project has been collaborating with many leading biologists who tested BoltzGen at an unprecedented scale, showing success on many novel targets and pushing its limits! 🧵..

Very interesting! Seems like they just hate pi-interactions. In addition to HFWY, Asn/Gln/Arg, and sulfur-containing lone pairs as well (Met/Cys). Guess they are too "disordered" to be considered lol.

This is not an attack on Biorender, which serves a useful function. It’s exposing a troubling phenomenon that is unconsciously sucking the artistry out of science and reinforcing a silent conformity in its presentation and perception.
