If your new year resolution is to update your stats knowledge, and you want to learn about p-values, Bayesian stats, power and error control, equivalence testing, p-curve analysis, pre-registration, etc., maybe you'd like to try out my free online course: coursera.org/learn/statisti…

Very excited to finally share SOLID - a database of similar images for cognitive research. Choose your stimuli in a systematic manner! link.springer.com/article/10.375…

1/7 Now out in #JEPG: Relational binding and mnemonic discrimination for items and contexts in development and in aging ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/m/pubmed/30896…]. In a wonderful collaboration with Ying Lin, @NoraNewcombe and @ingrids_brain.

A new preprint with Amy Atkinson on prioritisation in working memory. This is also my first time uploading to PsyArXiv, so that's exciting too. psyarxiv.com/4x8zu/ #newWM #workingmemory

Pleased to present my #EPSOnlineApr21 poster today exploring strategy use in the value effect on item-colour binding memory 😀

Looking forward to this talk from @EvieVergauwe on working memory and attention next month and hoping it won't clash with my teaching. world-wide.org/seminar/6452/

New preprint with Dr. Alessandra Souza, Richard Allen & Klaus Oberauer investigating whether the probe value effect in working memory is driven by attentional refreshing: psyarxiv.com/6s7db/. #WMinpress #newWMpaper

I have seen recent tweets on a failure to replicate context dependent memory – the Godden & Baddeley 1975 scuba diving study. Should you drop this from teaching? No. Place dependent memory effects are huge, reliable. Some studies will fail to create the effect. Thread. 1/26

A second paper from Xiaotong Yin's PhD, looking at concurrent task effects on value-directed prioritisation over different time delays in episodic memory. Out now in Memory: tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.10…
