This week’s precip forecast by NOAA’s NWS Weather Prediction Center Parts of the Plains and Midwest may see much needed moisture as well as extreme heat. Areas that miss out on higher precip amounts face worsening #drought. Bone dry for most of the West and part of TX. drought.gov/forecasts




Good news/bad news next week, per NOAA’s NWS Climate Prediction Center. The area in drought from the Northwest to the Northern Plains to the Upper Midwest leans mostly warm and dry. The area in drought from E. AZ to the Southern Plains to MS leans mostly wet (mixed temps). drought.gov/forecasts
