Merry Christmas from the Wright State College of Liberal Arts! Did you know that the first ever Christmas card was created and sent in 1843 by Sir Henry Cole and designed by John Callcott Horsley? It depicted a family enjoying a holiday dinner and charitable acts on side panels!

Happy Kwanzaa from the College of Liberal Arts! Did you know that the name of the holiday comes from a Swahili phrase? The phrase, "matunda ya kwanza" translates to "first fruits of the harvest". The seventh letter, an extra "a", was added to the name as 7 is a symbolic number!
