The weather swings are incredible! There’s hardly been a drop of rain since the widespread and quite significant flooding of mid January. Most river flows are now well below normal for the time of year. The outlook is very dry.

Believe it or not, the River Waveney and many other catchments throughout East Anglia are STILL in drought, having not fully recovered from last year's extremely dry weather! The recent lack of rain is a concerning situation for the year ahead. 📷 Environment Agency

🚱 East Anglia remains in drought, with 63% of England’s rivers below normal levels... Winter is normally a time for water resource recharge; river flows increase and reservoirs, groundwater and on-farm winter storage areas refill. bit.ly/3XZMldp

Spring Beck Project Wood debris along the stream plays an important part in the biodiversity above and below the waterline. It creates a great habitat for fish and invertebrates. With this project, we added over 100 pieces to the river system. Working with Norfolk Rivers Trust
