I challenged myself to make some Sunday Sauce and fresh pasta. Pasta could have been better but very happy with the sauce and meatballs.

Nothing will ever make me understand this selfish mindset. I’ll never have kids and I will happily have my taxes go towards schooling. And yes towards free meals as well! And roads I will never drive on. Food stamps I don’t use. Ect. We live in a society my man

This is a lie. The PTTF isn't some giant hoard of cash in a vault. It's largely accounted for, and only further defers maintenance that will result in outages and service cuts otherwise. Not to mention this steals $400 Million for roads and bridges in the middle of nowhere.

Also the fact that Cherelle Parker isn’t out front and center doing everything in her power to protest the SEPTA cuts basically invalidates the entire point of having a mayor. I understand the direct impact she can have is limited but she should still be incessantly denouncing it

You should know their names. These are three of the Republican state senators responsible for defunding SEPTA and Pennsylvania mass transit. PA House Democrats passed FIVE BIPARTISAN bills to fund SEPTA and mass transit— they went on vacation.

I don’t know if the Poconos will ever be what it once was, but as long as he’s having a good time that’s okay with me.

Waiting for the train and hearing the “Attention Passengers, due to lack of funding, reduced service on all metro lines will begin on August 24th” announcement feels extremely grim We can not let this happen, too many people depend on SEPTA on a daily basis for work and leisure

Microsoft isn’t disclosing this so: M365 Copilot allowed users to access files without producing an audit log. All you had to do was ask Copilot to not link to the file. You don’t even have to ask; it sometimes just happens. If your org uses Copilot your audit log is likely wrong

You gotta love the last bullet basically being “Senator Picozzi is the real victim here and he’s waiting for others to apologize to him for not repeating his BS spin” PA Senate Republicans pls stop being big babies and do your job

Over the past week #SEPTA Regional Rail riders have experienced significant delays, cancellations, and crowding. We understand that these issues have had a major impact on the lives of our riders and we want to provide an update on the specific challenges we are facing and what

The 127 was a lifeline for me when I was 18-20 years old. I didn't have the means to learn to drive, could hardly pay rent. People who grew up with nothing, people trying to get their life together, they rely on these transit lines. If they fail I fear Lower Bucks will get worse.

First, just look at the present. SEPTA's budget is $1.75b. The most similar system, the MBTA, is spending $2.5b. Like SEPTA, they get less than $500m in fare revenue. So the extra $750m in operating expenses is all subsidy. SEPTA is asking for less than 1/3rd of that difference.
