I enjoyed Bealtaine Festival #30 tea party IMMA today. Great to see #poetry front & centre, with poet-in-residence Anne Tannam reading her commissioned poems & Pat Boran also smashing it. There were also two commissioned choral pieces, sung by the fab forgetmenotchoir 💪🏻

I enjoyed three events yesterday aft/eve International Literature Festival Dublin in Merrion Square: a workshop with newsman & memoirist @jamesaalongman, an interview of poet Pádraig Ó Tuama by fellow poet Annemarie Ní Churreáin & a second interview by Fionn Davenport of foodie memoirists Katie Goh & Karolina Ramqvish 👍🏻

Despite yesterday’s wet weather, I really enjoyed my day Dalkey Book Festival. All three interviews I attended (with various pals) were brilliant: Elaine Feeney by Madeleine Keane, Colum McCann by Merve Emre & Elif Shafak by MK (again). All sessions were well-organised & well-attended
