If the gospel you preach doesn’t offend nationalism, you have devoted yourself to a tamed gospel.

You are so very corrupted by power and right wing politics that any proclamation of the Gospel you claim to make is compromised. I truly am concerned at this point that your Gospel proclamation would somehow include Trump. Repent and believe in the Good News!

In Mark’s account of the healing of Blind Bartimaeus, Jesus calls Bartimaeus, and the crowd (the disciples?) tell him, “Take heart, he is calling you.” This is an image of what our task as the Church should be; Telling those who don’t know, “Take heart, Jesus is calling you.”

At least Jerry Falwell is being honest for once. He no longer follows Christ, but Caesar. “We have no king but Caesar!”

Jerry is the most idolatrous, blasphemous example of a “Christian” out there. The fruit he bears makes plain that he has never met Christ. I hate that people look at him and think that’s what all Christians are like. Jerry has lost Liberty University all respectability.
