It's important to find industry use-cases that positively change the lives of underprivileged members of society, and one such example is Vodacom's Connected Farmer initiative that enables subsistence farmers to become highly productive and sustain their livelihood. #ITUworld

The roll out of IoT services also gives rise to connected classrooms that give young students important access to study materials and government needs to assist by fostering meaningful partnerships with service providers to help make disruptive technology available. #ITUworld

To help accelerate the adoption of IoT use, real value needs to be presented to customers in highlighting how this technology provides solutions to challenges faced by African societies. #ITUworld
