#unitetheunion Rules Conference 2023. Delegates overwhelmingly voted in favour of tightening up the current rule 6 definition. You now have to be an elected workplace rep in order to be eligible to sit on any of the unions' senior constitutional committees. 👏

The most important vote of our union’s conference was the Rule 6 decision to make sure our union is *always* directly accountable to workers. An overwhelming win for reps and the industrial fighting agenda of our union! #JobsPayConditions

In the last 22 months, Unite has won 81% of all disputes (over 850), which involved 150,000 members. This has put £140 million back into the pockets of our members. We caught up with some of our reps involved in some of the disputes this week. #JobsPayConditions 📽️⬇️

***Another Unite the union: join a union Win*** Workers will see their hourly rates increase by between 15% & 31%. A new shift premium of £1.25 per hour for between 0000 hrs and 0459 hrs has also been secured, increasing workers’ hourly rates by 23% & 43% during those hours. #JobsPayConditions
