No Black Friday here. More a colourful prints place. We will never follow the commercial fads, we make art in the hopes that people like it & we try to price things that make our customers smile. 'Crocus Bowl' limited edition linocut print, > littleramstudio.etsy.com #shopsmall

Now more than ever, we will see children aligning with abusers and rejecting healthy parents because whoever controls the children controls the post-separation landscape. We need to understand the symptoms of coercive control in children and continue to fight for their safety.

I have been saying that listening to children's voices when they are being terrorised into alignment with an abusive parent can prove fatal for almost 20 years now. How much longer before people understand that this is what alienation looks like? bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…

You could start by recognising that this is what alienation of children looks like - it is about a child being controlled by a coercive/unpredictable/frightening caregiver into appearing as if they are unendingly loyal - whilst rejecting the other parent, just like Sara did.

Creating fear of a parent in the mind of a child & sending them off to the care of that parent causes 'fright without solution', a recognised trauma response which impacts upon memory processing, which is also known as disorganised attachment.

A rare visit the metropolis today to keep the thread of clinical practice with alienated children strong via training for the new docs on the family court block. 2026 will be interesting in terms of child protection.

This is what happens when children have a path back to the part of self that was split off during the years when their ego strength could not resist a parent's control behaviours. When the rejected parent is a lighthouse and holds that part safely, the child returns to find it.

This trauma causes internal fragmentation of self, with the parent in the rejected position holding missing pieces. When the ego is strong enough, the child finds the path to recovering the whole self. Being a Lighthouse Keeper means holding those pieces safe & lighting that path
