On Monday, I went to see Erik Larson speak with David Grann at Barnes & Noble Union Square NYC about his latest book. Such a fascinating and inspiring experience to hear two masters of narrative nonfiction discuss the craft.
Such a sloppy article from the The New York Times. The University of Chicago adheres to viewpoint neutrality. That doesn't mean everyone can protest as disruptively as they wish. It means that the university applies the same rules regardless of the protesters' positions. nytimes.com/2024/05/06/us/…
Thank you Esther Ludlow for a wonderful interview about THE BISHOP AND THE BUTTERFLY at Once Upon a Crime Podcast/akaEsther! truecrimepodcast.com/s8-the-bishop-…
'Wolraich demonstrates a novelist’s ear for pacing. But I never felt like he was shafting me on history, or glossing over details in pursuit of a story pop. The balance — like the balance between Gordon and Seabury — feels exactly right.' reality blurred realityblurred.com/realitytv/2024…

A little piece at Paste Magazine comparing the 'everyday monsters' that David Grann exposed in KILLERS OF THE FLOWER MOON to those in my own historical #truecrime book, THE BISHOP AND THE BUTTERFLY: pastemagazine.com/books/nonficti…

I’m gratified by such high praise for THE BISHOP AND THE BUTTERFLY from Jennifer Truth Over Phony Balance Rubin 🇺🇦🇮🇱 at The Washington Post: “[Wolraich] weaves together characters as effectively as E.L. Doctorow did in novels such as ‘Ragtime’ and ‘Billy Bathgate.’” washingtonpost.com/opinions/2024/…
