Komentarze poszczególnych koalicjantów ws. kredytów i finansowania służby zdrowia najbardziej bym chciał teraz zobaczyć.

So it’s “election silence” in Poland since midnight last night until the presidential election ends tomorrow at 9 pm. No agitation, no polls, I am not even sure I could yell a candidate’s name in my own home. So it’s quiet but make no mistake - Poland’s going bonkers underneath.

Turnout in second round of Poland's presidential election at noon: 2025: 24.83% (2020: 24.73%). Highest by region: Lesser Poland, Podlasie, Mazovia. Lowest : Opole, Lower Silesia, Lubuskie. Highest by top cities: Lublin, Toruń, Bydgoszcz. Lowest: Gdańsk, Wrocław, Katowice.

Wait a second. I've been out when I heard the news of #Ukraine delivering a pretty ingenious attack 🇺🇦💪 on Russian airports deep inside the enemy's territory. Polish media apparently have managed to link it to "election silence" 'cause they seem to have hardly noticed that?

Poland's presidential election exit poll too close to call a winner, an exit poll by IPSOS has shown: Rafał Trzaskowski 50.3% Karol Nawrocki 49.7% Turnout 72.8%

A late poll has just shown a turnaround in Poland presidential election Populist right-winger Karol Nawrocki now leads with 50.7%. Trzaskowski's at 40.3%. The difference is 1.4pp - bigger than what separated the two in the exit poll 2 hours ago (when Trzaskowski led).

Populist right-winger Karol #Nawrocki will be Poland's next president after winning 50.89% of the votes, according to official results. His liberal rival Rafał #Trzaskowski won 49.11%. What a night this has been. A tumultuous time ahead.

In nominal terms, the difference in 🇵🇱 presidential election was just under 370k votes. Too early to delve into what happened & why but one thing springs to mind: it's taken just 2 years (Tusk won power in 2023) for people to turn away. A massive fail of the Tusk-led coalition.

Some commentators pointing in polite manner 🤡 there's a typo in this post - obvs the late poll was 50.7 to 49.3 percent. Anyway, the official results were pubbed in the meantime so it doesn't matter now.

PiS Chairman Jarosław Kaczyński calls for a caretaker govt to replace Tusk's as PiS-backed Nawrocki won presidential election last night. Tusk set to speak in a few minutes. Huge political commotion in Poland 🇵🇱 .

Poland's PM Tusk just said he'd cooperate w/ new president Nawrocki "where necessary and possible." But, he added, if the president doesn't cooperate, the govt will push forward over his head. (Not sure how you can circumvent president tho - decrees aren't really a thing here.)

Polish PM Tusk is delivering an address to the parliament right now ahead of a confidence vote coming later this afternoon. Tusk called the confidence vote after his candidate Rafał Trzaskowski lost presidential election to opposition-backed Karol Nawrocki on June 1.

After nearly eight hours of debate (which wasn't really a debate, but ok), Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk has just won the confidence vote he called after his candidate lost presidential election on June 1. 243 votes for, 210 against, no abstentions.
