Last parade night, we held another Masterchef Inter-Flight Competition! Each flight had a budget of £12.50 and had to create a three course meal for staff. We had some very interesting meals, including garlic dough balls, steak, chilli con carne, egg fried rice, and ice cream!

On Saturday, our squadron had the privilege of leading the Witham Carnival! Our band has been practicing for months and they sounded fantastic! We also had the rest of the squadron walking alongside the minibus, which was brilliantly decorated for the ‘Safari’ theme!

Earlier this week, members of 295 attended the Jack Petchey Foundation’s Essex Regional Achievement Award event! We were delighted to have three cadets and a staff member win awards which were all very well deserved! Well done to you all! Jack Petchey Fdn

295 had a very busy day today parading in the Coggeshall Carnival! Our band was on top form, and our banner party looked amazing! We had a great turnout and it was great to see so many people enjoying our music! We also had a stall to promote the squadron and raise some money.

The Royal Air Force Air Cadets recently changed our tactical recognition flashes to a new design. The new design replicates the colours of the RAF stable belt with the addition of an eagle and ‘RAF Air Cadets’ embroidered on the flash. We are proud to show off our new TRF’s!

Cpl Bowers and Cdt Steward are currently on a camp at RAF Cranwell with other cadets from Essex Wing. Yesterday, they had the amazing opportunity to go gliding! What a fantastic experience for these two!✈️✈️ #AirCadets #RAFAC #WhatWeDo

Earlier today, 295 was joined by other cadets from across North Sector to take part in the Battle of Britain Parade in Witham Town Centre. This year marks 83 years since the infamous battle for the skies, and we continue to remember those brave men and women who gave their lives.

Last night, we welcomed our North Sector Commander, Sqn Ldr Jelley, and his deputy, Flt Lt Shipley, to conduct a very important interview! After lots of revising and a rigorous interview process, we are delighted to announce the promotion of Cadet Warrant Officer Tom Lane!
