Why aren't any media outlets covering this study showing clear, structural, inflammation-driven brain damage in Long Covid patients? Whenever there is anything – literally anything – suggesting Long Covid is not real or psychological or FND it gets wall-to-wall media coverage.

DOGE just shut down San Diego County’s wastewater testing system. No more research or monitoring for deadly diseases despite the critical role wastewater surveillance played in fighting COVID. Dangerous and really stupid. sandiegouniontribune.com/2025/04/07/dog…

American insurance companies warning how C19 has affected the health and life expectancy of young Americans (I emphasise, ‘young’ Americans). They have the data and know how to analyse it insurancenewsnet.com/innarticle/par…

I finally had a chance to dig into this monster of a study—and if you care about evidence-based healthcare, you need to read this. But first, let me explain why I care so much. There’s been a flood of retracted COVID-related studies—some of which gained massive media coverage

I’m just wracking my brain & trying to think if there are any obvious reasons why there might have been a significant deterioration in children’s ability to perform fine motor skills since the start of the COVID pandemic… It’s a shame there hasn’t been any research on this…🤦🏻‍♀️

They tell you that we have a spending problem, that we must suffer some pain to get our economy on track, and that we need to raise the retirement age, cut Medicaid, and cut food assistance to address our deficit. Those are lies. 🧵

Had this flagged in pre-print, has now been published in Nature Communications. For anyone out there who still thinks that C0V1D infection is harmless in children… please read. nature.com/articles/s4146…

Significant, long-lasting cognitive impairments in young adults. Verbal working memory was significantly impaired + lower performance in divided attention & response inhibition. The observed increased reaction time in all cognitive tasks may demonstrate cognitive slowing.

CDC now says all kids "may receive" COVID vaccines. This means insurance companies will likely still cover them. BUT new guidance is more confusing than a broad recommendation, & vaccines during pregnancy now listed as "No Guidance/Not Applicable," which will decrease uptake.

“The assumption that children and teens recover completely from COVID has been shattered by mounting evidence that their developing respiratory systems are uniquely vulnerable to long-term damage.” “What’s particularly alarming is that many had mild or asymptomatic infections.”

“When kids come to me, they’re very frustrated. They often will cry just because I’m listening to them & I’m not questioning whether or not they have #LongCovid” Yonker, MD “The study found 14% of infected infants & 15% of infected preschoolers had LC, similar to rates in teens”

Excellent overview of Long COVID in children from JAMA pediatrics. Long COVID impacts almost 6 million kids, which is "higher than the number of children with asthma, the most common chronic health problem in children."
