As farmers we never give up, we are resilient and dedicated to producing a quality product day in day out. It may be hard to see the wood from the trees at the moment but look back and think how far you’ve come or the hurdles you’ve already overcome in your journey.

One of the most satisfying jobs of the day is moving the fence for the cows in the morning 🌅

Fresh out the oven this evening, a ewe lamb with a pair of Shetland lambs 👌

New handling pens and caving trailer at the contract farming agreement. Making it safer and easier for one person to work away 👌

We were waiting for rain but that looks like it’s not coming and we can’t sit on our hands any longer 🙈 prayforrain 😅

Lovely to see some well needed rain but it does make more rounds on the quad less appealing 😂

Sadly after 20+ years with a minimum of 3 pairs of Lapwings in this field, they are gone. Badger sets in the next field and all ground nesting birds have disappeared. We need to discuss this biodiversity loss before the poor birds are gone for good. RSPB Scotland NFU Scotland
