For a while I've been talking about City having more game breaking players in the team, particularly after KDB has now left. Rodrygo and Donnarumma are certainly that, and Cherki has the potential to be. The rebuild has been amazing this summer as much as people complain #mcfc

This would be a blow. Getting rid of a young, talented player (admittedly off the back of a poor season) isn't exactly rebuilding, particularly considering City are already short at right back with no links at all. Anything less than £50m or £40m with a buyback is a no go #mcfc

So tricky to pick not just who makes the XI, but who makes the bench too. O'Reilly, Lewis and Echeverri all left out. No idea whether Ederson makes the squad, either way rumours suggest it's Trafford in goal

Newcastle played some excellent football and are clearly a better team than Villa but they're missing a focal point. Don't see them competing for UCL football this season unless they absolutely nail their Isak replacement (or if by some miracle Isak has a redemption.)
