I review Nintendo Switch games. Most of the time I do it alone, but occasionally my kids will join in to tell me their thoughts.

I got sent a copy of Escape Ever After. It's a Paper Mario type game. Unfortunately, they didn't have any NA Switch codes left, so I am going to play it on Steam. It shouldn't be much different than the Switch version.

I am on Chapter 9 of Final Fantasy 7: Remake, I now understand why everyone loved Aerith. Before her chapters, I was sympathising with the people of this city. Avalanche were a bunch of aholes, who think blowing stuff up is okay. I have a TON of nickpicky notes on Chapter 4.

Quick Thoughts on FF7: Remake. It was pretty good, but you could feel the padding in sections. I have barely played FF7 before, but I hear this game is about 7 hours of that game. If that's true, wow there is a lot of story in this game. I found the first part the worst, but

Quick thoughts 7 hours into DQ7. It's...okay. I don't really like the go to an island, see a minor story and leave. It has the writing/gameplay structure of Hello Kitty Island Adventure. It could get better when the island gimmick ends (I hope).

I just beat DQ7 in 33 hours. I thought the story was okay if not a little simple. I liked it better than DQ8, but that wasn't a huge hurdle to get over (DQ8 has a great story hook, and then spends 50 hours messing around). DQ11 is still my favorite.

Any suggestions for games for me to review? I have finished DQ7 and Bendy and the ink machine (eShop dumpster game). I am looking for a hidden treasure I might have missed.
