From our bakery this week:  Pies, donuts, baked goods, cookies, rustic baguettes, preserves, jams, and much more.  Turnovers are available Fridays and Saturdays.

Our peaches are for sale retail on the farmstand and pick-your-own peaches are also available Saturdays and Labor Day.

Late-summer vibes.  A distinct look and feel comes with this part of the year also not the same as mid-September.  Grapes and apples together on our farmstand, yellow peaches.  A great variety of tomatoes.  Melons and watermelons, all grown here on our own farm.

Serving suggestion:  Combine our cherry tomatoes with tuna tataki.

This week we feature yellow peaches, melons, watermelons, and tomatoes of all kinds, including red beefsteaks, full-size heirlooms, Sungold, red cherry and heirloom cherry tomato mix.  Apple season begins, with Gingergold, Sansa, Zestar and Red Gravenstein.

Tips for grilling peaches: Use ripe yellow peaches, Wickham's honey, butter, cinnamon, olive oil, halve the peaches and brush the mix on and add a little olive oil to the grill and place peaches flat-side-down and grill for 10-15 minutes then flip them over for about 2 minutes.
