In Cox’s Bazar 🇧🇩, #Dengue remains a major threat for #Rohingya #refugees & host community. IOM increased to 70 inpatient beds across its 8 health facilities. In addition, IOM provides outpatient diagnosis & consultation in all its facilities, treating 5,000+ patients this year.

📢The Chief Adviser of the Government of Bangladesh Professor Muhammad Yunus underscored the need for expedited third country resettlement of the #Rohingyas living in BD & requested for IOM - UN Migration 🇺🇳's continued support, when he met the IOM BD delegation led by CoM Abdusattor Esoev, on Sunday.

⛈️ Continuous rain & flooding are severely impacting the #Rohingya camps in Cox's Bazar 🇧🇩. The situation remains critical, with IOM teams working 24/7 to support #refugees. Teams & volunteers are alerting refugees & relocating those in landslide-prone areas to safer locations.

Once again, devastating rains causing floods & landslides hit the #Rohingya #refugee camps in Cox's Bazar 🇧🇩, leaving significant damages & displacing thousands of refugees. IOM teams are relocating the most vulnerable, assessing the damages & delivering urgent humanitarian aid.

🇧🇩Foreign Affairs Adviser, HE Md. Touhid Hossain, met with DG IOM - UN Migration 🇺🇳 Amy Pope (Amy Pope), on UNGA79 sidelines. She lauded #Bangladesh role as Global Migration Compact champion. They discussed #Rohingya crisis as also ways to facilitate safe|orderly #migration.
