The children have had a great start to Year 1! So far this week, we have been counting and sorting objects and have had lots of fun during our Science lesson where we explored the senses smell, touch and taste.

Today we have been learning how to log onto the computers independently!

Today we linked Computing with our Science work by creating healthy food baskets filled with fruit and vegetables. The children have also been learning about ways to stay safe online.

This afternoon we have enjoyed identifying deciduous and evergreen trees 🌳🌲

It definitely has been an amazing first term in Year 1! We are very proud of all the children and the progress they have made so far. Thank you again. Happy Christmas everyone!

Very proud of our Y1 writing today! The children have produced some amazing biographies of Florence Nightingale.
