Hi Wizz Air - I’m wanting to take my manual wheelchair in the hold and my lithium battery powered attachment with me in the cabin. Your website states you only accept dry cell batteries - is this info correct as I’ve never had any issues before? Thanks!

Off to Liverpool tonight for a few days with work. Dreading all of the train changes. Praying for things to go smoothly, but have that anxious feeling before travelling that I can never seem to shake off. Does anyone else get that? #AccessibleTravel 🚂 ♿️

Knew something would go wrong. 3rd train is cancelled. Now got to try and sort out ♿️assistance for another train - that’s if they are running as all have disruption alerts😢. Knowing I’m going to be met with responses like ‘well… you haven’t booked assistance’ for the new ones!

Using the Elizabeth Line on the tube Jennie Berry & Gem found: ♿️ You have to really study the maps of the many lifts ♿️ You have to make sure you’re sat in the right accessible carriage ♿️ The gap between the platform & carriage is doable for Gem & Jennie! 👩🏻‍🦽👩🏼‍🦼

I wanted to reshare this article because there will be so many who feel free to intrude even more now because of this campaign - fuck them and this. glamourmagazine.co.uk/article/wheelc…

It was a real delight to work with Jay Rayner on this article on wheelchair access and info in restaurants. Being cut out of social spaces cuts disabled people out of society, and places very rarely make the small adaptions they're legally obliged to theguardian.com/food/2024/feb/…

Imagine waking up on a morning and being that naive to think you’re invincible. 1 in 2 people will experience disability of some form in their lives. Do the math, Tom. Aesthetics over human beings. Ps sounds like it’s design skills problem, not an accessibility problem.

On the 25th October 2018, from my hospital bed, I began to write. At first it was a way to anchor myself to the strange new reality I had found myself in, but as I wrote, as I learnt, I began to think this could be something bigger than just my diary.
