Clipston Trail Half Marathon - 1:48:48. For the first and last time ever I was 1st in my age category! Super happy with that time on a course with 360m elevation on my watch. The free cake on offer at the end was unreal. Love smaller local races over huge events all day long!

Digital ID cards are pointless, will be such a waste of money and will do nothing to stop illegal migration. It will however no doubt cost loads of money. Good job Labour will likely be turfed out before it’s released.

28km on the Coventry Way trails and back to back long runs this week. Back in work tomorrow night so key was getting most of the volume out of the way. Got lost a couple of times today but got there in the end! 🤣

Long run for the week done on the trails. The 50k race is just over 3 weeks away now. Trying to fuel on more solid foods, the mini Soreen malt loaf bars hit the spot! Hopefully end up on around 70k for this week 👌

Garmin suggested 4x9 mins tempo today. Not bad to get a 3rd fastest 10km time in a training run and a surprise VO2 Max increase! Just over 2 weeks until the 50k 👍
