West Bountiful's annual Christmas on Onion Street event will be held at city park on December 10 from 2pm - 4pm followed by Santa's parade through town on a fire truck beginning at 5pm from city hall. These events are sponsored by West Bountiful's Youth City Council.

The National Weather Service has issued a wind chill warning until 12p on Jan. 30 for extreme cold wind chills for the northern Wasatch Front. Turn faucets on slow drip, open cabinet doors under sinks on outer walls, and set heat to at least 65 degrees to prevent freezing pipes.

West Bountiful has an effective canal system through the city that carries snow runoff. We are not expecting significant flooding this year but will make sandbags available beginning March 27, at the public works parking lot next to city hall for residents to fill, if desired.
