This afternoon we delivered a letter from unionized Bon Appetit workers to President Roth asking him to support the union standard on campus! (with CT AFL-CIO President Ed Hawthorne and Local 217 UNITE HERE!!)

🚨UNION BUSTING IS DISGUSTING! 🚨The bosses at Red and Black and Swings are saying student workers shouldn’t be able to vote in this union election. We do the same work as other student dining workers on campus. So why don’t we deserve a fair election process too?

We tried to deliver a letter to President Roth asking him to support workers trying to unionize on this campus - they wouldn't let us in, and even called P-SAFE on us 😡 Disappointing that the administration is declining to support the rights of student workers.

WesUSE STANDS WITH WESDWU!! All Wesleyan workers, full time and part time, deserve a say in their workplace free of union busting.

The Wesleyan Admin has accepted our demands regarding the Reproductive Justice Campaign. Thank you to everyone that signed the petition and supported our cause.
