Calling for true regional rugby that includes the whole of Wales. Every club and fan equally. Fully integrated and aligned. We'd be so much stronger together.

18 defeats in a row. Just devastating. π What more will it take for Welsh rugby fans to accept that this faulty 4 team "regional" system is all wrong?! We donβt have the resources for 4 pro teams (and these 4 are the wrong entities). Please like & REPOST if you agree π π΄σ §σ ’σ ·σ ¬σ ³σ Ώ

So glad that we've managed to end that losing streak. More than anything I'm delighted for the players - who work so hard - and who've been let down so badly by the way Welsh rugby is structured. Radical change is essential now. Time to include everyone and work together. π΄σ §σ ’σ ·σ ¬σ ³σ Ώπ

TheWelshDragon π΄σ §σ ’σ ·σ ¬σ ³σ Ώπ Agree completely. The greed and self-interest in Welsh rugby is utterly mind-blowing. Far too many people still fighting for their small patch, no matter how much it damages other parts of Welsh rugby. We'll never have sustainable success until we learn to work together.

GJPowell He's undeniably a great bloke and Llanelli club heritage is incredibly important. But same goes for Swansea, Neath, Aberavon, Bridgend, Pontypridd, Ebbw Vale, Pontypool, Newport etc. And they've all stepped down to semi-pro level. It's time for Llanelli & Cardiff to do the same.

Paul Williams If, by "that Welsh team", you mean a proposed true regional side like West Wales or East Wales - then yes, the idea of supporting an English team instead is insane and petulant beyond belief. Why won't Welsh people work together?! Petty tribalism is killing the game here.

Owen Robins Is it "just like" that though? Most rugby fans in the valleys don't want to support Cardiff because - it's a historic rival club - that doesn't include them. An East Wales team - WOULD include Cardiff AND the valleys - and ISN'T a historic rival. It's a far better option π

It wasn't just Warburton. So many have suggested this... Andrew Coombs, JPR, Gwyn Jones, Paul Thorburn, Mark Ring, Alun Carter, Nick Bishop, Steve James, Andy Howell, Nick Williams, Tommy Bowe, Martyn Ryan, πππ πππ«π―π’π¬, David Flatman etc Time for more people to speak up π

Jason Clark ππΈπ΄σ §σ ’σ ·σ ¬σ ³σ Ώ Matthew Cook So many people were openly happy about it back then - fans & owners of the 4 remaining teams - because they each got a bigger slice of the WRU funding pie & some Warriors players. Not 1 of those 4 teams spoke up against the WRU to help the Warriors. π Gareth Thomas quote...

GJPowell Wow, absolutely fantastic from Jonathan Davies. He gets it. Just like Andrew Coombs, Warburton, JPR, Gwyn Jones, Paul Thorburn etc 2 massive new super-regions - underpinned by all the old historic clubs back together and battling it out at semi-pro level π
