New paper in Plant Cell & Environment: In heatwaves, transpiration may go up even when photosynthesis halts. We used leaf carbonyl sulfide (O=C=S) flux measurements to show that this decoupling may come from internal diffusion limitation instead of stomatal changes onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/pc…

Our paper science.org/doi/10.1126/sc… is new in Science Magazine today. We looked at the impact wide scale forestation (reforestation, afforestation and forest enhancement) would have on atmospheric composition and albedo, comparing these changes to the beneficial removal of CO2. 1/
