So heartwarming to see some of the mangoes we picked on Saturday being delivered to students at Githogoro informal settlement in Nairobi - one of many supplied by Food Banking Kenya school feeding programme. Keep up the great work! x.com/foodbankingke/…

I really like this quote which is particularly poignant at a time when the interests behind political protests are increasingly blurred. Looking forward to two days of engagement with County Government 047 leadership on how to bridge this disconnect. tmg-thinktank.com/events/the-inf…

Perhaps one of the reasons we don't learn from past failures is because of deeply entrenched negativity towards pastoralism as a culture and livelihood system? Can such attitudes be unlearned?

After nursing his coffee bushes through a prolonged drought, my Dad's coffee coop 'rewards' him with 30 shillings/kg. Yet a kilo of coffee beans is retailing at 2k sh. A biblical-style rant is called for: 'cursed be those who reap where they do not sow.'

Entering 4th night without power from fallen power lines in the Kinyaga/Bypass ( near Kagio in County Government of Kirinyaga ). Kenya Power customer care nonchalantly informs me 'we're chasing the contractor - lets see what happens tomorrow.' Best motivation to install my own solar microgrid
