My two most used keys. Whenever I write I remind myself to use the simplest words to say what I want to say. Let’s not push people out of the conversation with long words. #everyonecontributes #EveryoneEqual #inclusion #keeptalking #SocialJustice #nojargon #plainenglish

Clergy partners are often approached by the most vulnerable in society for support, should we be offered information about how to keep safe boundaries? Do any The Church of England diocese have this available?

It’s not that hard to work out. Children shouldn’t be left hungry. Whilst the government won’t take responsibility for giving adequate welfare payments to parents groups like LCC are the only solution for families. #communityaction #SE6 #foodpoverty #dobetter

All LCC are asking for is the ability to PAY for goods they are purchasing. Co-op amongst others have donated food and volunteer time to support the project. Get it together Asda #FeedtheChildren

New concept- Love Island format but for research partners. Couple up with your ideal research partner and the winners get an office, salary and library access at the university of their choice.

17th September- we are reminded again that it isn’t safe for women to take a short walk 24th September- we have no choice but to walk. How are we even meant to follow ‘the rules’?

I’ve been blessed many times by complete strangers helping with my career, support, even offering to drop off food to my home. Why? Because we’re all clergy spouses! That solitary makes me feel like even though being ‘the vicars wife’ can be isolating at times, I’m not alone.

We are already seeing a huge increase in households relying on our grants just to get by. Now, this shift could see many #clergyfamilies hundreds of pounds worse off. Thank you, Madeleine Davies Church Times for spotlighting the potential impact of the #UniversalCredit shift. 👇
