Remarkable! The three main groups making up 60% of the European parliament are now calling for a review of whether Switzerland should be added to a money-laundering blacklist that includes Iran, Syria, North Korea, Myanmar, Panama and Yemen #Suissesecrets theguardian.com/news/2022/feb/…

People across Europe have been plagued by fake “consent” popups every day on almost every website and app since the GDPR was introduced almost six years ago. IAB Europe has sought to evade its responsibility for this charade. But the European Court of Justice has set it straight.

ECJ finds IAB Europe responsible for TCF consent spam popups across the Internet iccl.ie/digital-data/e… (news.ycombinator.com/item?id=396276…)

What's next? #IAB tells us that with the new #TCF 2.2 everything is fixed already and they are glad that this ambiguity has finally been cleared up with and what a great progress TCF is not and that the ECJ clearly confirms this with the ruling. iccl.ie/digital-data/e…

Nathan Thomas This is a very fundamental way TCF works! I don't know how IAB can say that TCF will work within the legal boundaries of the law when the law just said that you can't actually do one of the main things TCF is designed to do?!? Anthony Katsur I don't see that argument in your link
