most of your "adult" problems can be avoided if you: - regularly workout - get a 2nd income source - eat real food - find 3 real friends - live below your means - do what you love for work - don't have kids with the wrong person

Very few players have had the combination of heart, hustle and baseball IQ that Derek Jeter possessed 🀝 Take a minute to watch the 5-time Gold Glover play defense.

Here’s something cool I found, this is the Orioles’ feed of Derek Jeter’s walk-off from September 25, 2014 with the legendary Gary Thorne on the call (full at bat)

I’m so sick of watching this team freefall through the summer months, half ass the deadline, scratch their way into a wild card, beat a Central team then get curb stomped by a real team in the playoffs every year. And they do it literally every year. Need a new voice.

In September 2009, Ichiro walked-off Mariano Rivera. Not a very meaningful game. 16 years later, I remember it vividly. Prior to 2020(?) a game like tonight would have felt like getting hit by a truck. It’s completely routine now. Within a week, I won’t remember it.

Weapons was a great film. Right up there with Sinners amongst the best of the year. I think this has a chance to become THE defining liminal spaces film. The pacing, choreography, acting, and overt themes were blended so well. #WeaponsMovie
