The older I get, the more whiney and annoying I find Luke Skywalker, and the more I appreciate Han Solo.

For all the people excusing Luke Skywalker being whiney in Star Wars because he was a teenager whose family was murdered...so was Leia. And unlike Mark Hamill, who was 25 when the movie was made, Carrie Fisher was an ACTUAL teenager.

I don't know whether to be amused or disturbed by the number of people who seem genuinely offended that I called Luke Skywalker whiny in Star Wars. Even my 19 and 12 year old children were annoyed by how whiny he was.
