Dr Shannon Rupert visited us today. She is director of MDRS Analog in Utah. The Mars Desert Research Station is an analog of a habitat on Mars. The landscape, geology and structure all emulate what it would be like to be working from a research base on the Red Planet.

Today is the last day for Primary Teachers learning about STEAM instruction from Anne Tweed. The focus for today has been on the E in CUE: Environment.

A positive learning environment makes a huge difference to a student’s capacity to learn. A major factor is when Teachers adopt a growth-mindset; believing that ALL students have the capacity to improve their minds.
