HAPPENING NOW: Uber and Lyft drivers from across Massachusetts are outside of the state Department of Labor with 32BJ, Machinists Union / IAM Union and CPA Justice to announce that thousands of active rideshare drivers across the state have signed union cards!

After winning the right to unionize a month ago, Massachusetts drivers for Uber and Lyft are starting the process to form a first-of-its-kind organization. bizjournals.com/boston/news/20…

Last week, 32BJ SEIU’s Roxana Rivera shared: “Together, drivers are ready to take the next step towards forming a statewide rideshare drivers union, the App Drivers Union. They are here today to say: we are ready for our union to be recognized.” #UnionStrong

Last week, Machinists Union / IAM Union Mike Vartabedian told us: “Rideshare drivers are the backbone of the economy, ensuring millions of people across our state reach their destinations. Boston, and the entire state of Massachusetts, does not run without rideshare drivers.”
